Prea James' New Styles In Store | Something Pretty to Dream About...

If you’ve been in store with us or anywhere near our socials, you know that Prea James is a can’t-stop-won’t-stop with our hearts. Her designs and timelessness mixed with modern elements get our adrenaline pumping out of our chests like Pepé Le Pew in view of his lady love.

How can one dress be so simple, yet so elegant, sexy, yet so refined, easy to wear,

and accessible to so many different brides/days/vibes/body types/dress dreams?

This is a sentence we find ourselves asking over and over again at Mrs Fray HQ .

Because of this, we’re thrilled to be welcoming not one, but three new Prea James styles in store to our permanent family at Mrs Fray. Today we wanted to spend a few moments introducing you to the girls and giving you some more glorious silk to dream about…

TYLER

You want two piece? You want saucy? You still want sophisticated? You want satin? You want structure and flow at the same time? You want wow factor?

Done, done done done done, and done.

TYLER has got it all. She ticks all the boxes and looks good on body types 1-16. She’s saucy, she’s sophisticated and sexy, but still in a way that you can wear her next to your uncle in a photo and not feel weird. The cross detailing of the top bodice is incredibly flattering on busts large and small, and the cut outs on the side will surprise you with how cool they help you feel. She also brings ‘classy back’ with her four satin buttons detailing on the back of said-supportive-bodice. What’s not to love?

GENEVIEVE

Oh, GENEVIEVE. The CARA of 2020 - no? She’s a crowd pleaser, and we’ll tell you why: Something magical and mysterious is done in the way that stretch crepe is cut with those flattering angles cascading down the dress’ classic shape. She has the magic front slit of CARA and ARIELLE, so you can not only do something fun with your shoes but you can walk like a dreamboat who’s wearing runners on your wedding day while you’re actually sporting a flashy block heel. Her thicker straps are flattering in a way that can’t be beat when they taper to a slight V on its backline (similar to her cousin MIRA). We can’t stop won’t stop with GENEVIEVE, and you won’t be able to either.

ASTA

We heard someone mention the roaring 20’s in store recently with the turn of the new year, and we wouldn’t be surprised at an incoming herd of throwback styles gracing our shelves this year at Mrs Fray. ASTA is one style that would absolutely give a rightful nod to days of old while still being very much a gown of the ‘now.’ Stretch satin gives her a red carpet, 1940’s glamour look, with Prea’s signature ARIELLE drape at the front flatters your bust in - again - a classy and non-awkward way (bonus). We love the glam of ASTA and found her a crowd favourite at our latest Prea James trunk show in store. We can’t wait to introduce you, so you can love her as much as we do.

Make an appointment today to try on any of these beauties in store as soon as you wake up from your sweet dreams of them. We’ll be ready and waiting, champagne in hand and real life smiles on our faces.
